Offset and Orthopedic Canes

A very comfortable and supportive orthopaedic canes to fit specific hands.  The handle spreads the user's weight across the palm of the handle, and is often of great benefit to sufferers of hand problems such as arthritis and rheumatism, as well as those who need to hold a stick in their hand for long periods of time.  There are Relaxed Grip, Palm Grip and Anatomical Derby Grip Canes.

The Offset also known as the Swan-Neck is a contemporary design named for the curved shape of the stick, which is usually aluminium. The handle itself is usually a tubular shape, cushioned with foam for a soft-grip feel.  As with the derby cane, the theory is that the user’s weight is carried directly over the shaft of the stick, making it suitable for orthopedic use by those who need to place a fair amount of weight on their stick. They are adjustable in height and tips with a larger base can be purchased giving even more support.
